Description
In the time before man there were many gods on Mount Olympus. Then man was created out of clay by Zeus, and taught wisdom by Prometheus, although he also learnt both cruelty and courage. The bravest of these men became the heroes of Greece. Here, among many others, are tales of Perseus, who killed the Gorgon Medusa, Jason, who brought home the Golden Fleece, Heracles, who undertook the twelve labours and Theseus, who slew the minotaur.
